REGISTRATION and INFORMATION
2nd Annual INDIANA WOODCARVERS SUMMER CAMP
AUGUST 18 - 21, 2010 -- Pla-Mor Campground, Hwy. 6, Bremen, Indiana
www.counciloakwoodcarvers.com 574-204-2856
Registration Fees for woodcarving:
Adults (18 and older): $15.00 per carver in advance, or $20 at the door.
Couples Rate: 2 carvers at same address on your drivers license $22.00.
Children 12-17: $5.00
Children under 12: $2.50
***(Children must have a parent or adult guardian in the carving area. You do not have to sit at same table,
but you must be nearby. Know where your children are at all times!)
If you have paid your registration in advance - your name will be on a Pre-Registered List at the door. You
will be given your carving pass when you sign in at camp. You must show your carving pass to your
instructor at the beginning of each class.
All woodcarvers will pre-pay the non-refundable $15 Registration Fee in advance or pay $20.00 at the door -
whether they are staying at the camp, staying at lodging nearby, or just driving in for the day. This one time
non-refundable registration fee is good for the entire 2010 event and includes parking.
This event is not-for-profit. All registration fees and food/drink/raffle donations that are collected are
considered a donation and will be used to promote the event next year. Your donations cover expenses to
provide food & drinks, raffle and door prizes, advertising costs such as printing of flyers, name tags,
rentals, tents/canopies, insurance and more.
Non-carvers in your party do not pay a registration fee, but must be registered for your campsite when you
check in. Craft instructors for the non-carvers will charge a reasonable fee to pay for supplies. Soap
carving kits will be available free for young children and Origami will be free - compliments of the Council
Oak and Good Time Woodcarving Clubs.
If we do not receive your registration in advance - you will pay $20.00 at the door for each carver to receive
your carving pass. If you mailed your payment and it did not arrive on time - it will be returned to you after
the event. It must arrive by Monday, August 16th or you will have to pay at the door.
Payment in advance helps us determine attendance and therefore assures that we have enough supplies.
We want your experience at our summer camp to be comfortable and fun…and we appreciate your
comments and suggestions.
Attention: Woodcarving is inherently dangerous. Carvers should wear gloves and finger guards to protect
from injury. Use caution when handling tools. Registering for this event includes your release of all
claims. By registering, you agree to release harmless all instructors and vendors at the event, Pla-Mor
Campgrounds of Bremen, Council Oak Woodcarvers of South Bend, Good Time Carvers of Plymouth, the
Indiana Woodcarvers Guild, and all members, owners, officers, directors and staff of these named
organizations, for all injuries or deaths, damages to persons, property (including carvings) real and
personal, and loss by theft or vandalism, caused by or arising from participation at this annual event.
