The Pla-Mor Campground, owned and operated by
Rod and Brenda Beamish, is now preparing for the
first Indiana Woodcarvers Summer Camp! The
camp is located at 2162 US 6 East, Bremen, IN
46506. Pla-Mor has 560 campsites for all camping
needs from tents to the largest RV/motorcoach.
Great summer fun for the whole family!

Thursday Night 7:00 PM - SPAM CARVING CONTEST
Entrance Fee $5.00 and bring your own can of SPAM to carve.
50% of fee collected will be divided between two category winners and 50%
will be donated to the Food Bank. Rules: You have 30 minutes to create a
human (face or body) or an animal. You can use your teeth and one butter
knife and one toothpick. You cannot attach lumps of Spam - your carving
must be one solid piece from one lump of Spam. You can add props from a
selection we will provide.
Thursday Night - 8:00PM - BLANKET SWAP-N-TRADE
Bring your unwanted woodcarving related items (new & used) to trade for
good stuff. (carvings, blanks, blocks of wood, knives, books, etc)
Every Night after classes -
Carving and Fellowship in the main building.
(No formal classes in the evening, but some people just won't quit).
Horseshoe Games at the pits!
Music at the campfire - bring your non-electric instruments

LEY, PALMER & SNARE!
Acoustic guitar trio. Gene Ley: Is a long time resident of Plymouth Indiana.
He has played for many years with various bands. The last band from the
area was Grand Army Highway. Gene plays lead guitar, harmonica and
many other stringed instruments. Gene also has a fine voice for lead and
has a great ear for harmonies. Stan Palmer: Is also a long time Plymouth
resident. Stan has played in many bands as well. One of the bands he
played with opened for the Buckingham's. Stan plays rhythm and lead guitar
and has a great voice for lead singing and harmonies. Bob Snare: Now
lives in Plymouth but originally comes from the Chicago area. Bob has
played in many bands and has also played solo. He has played in Chicago
for many years. Bob plays rhythm guitar and lead sings. He also sings
harmony. Bob is also a member of the Good Time Woodcarving Club in
Plymouth.

Sunday Noon - SHOW & TELL - on the Stage in the Main Building - Time to
Show everybody what you made, talk about what you learned at camp, and
make announcements for your future events.
Sunday - 2:00 PM - Cleanup...many hands make light work...

All classes are free with the purchase of project
wood blanks/ roughouts or craft supplies.
Instructors will sell roughouts and projects at
reasonable prices and volunteer their skills and
time to teach. Class schedule will be posted
Thursday morning - all classes on a first come,
first served basis. The fine print says that
everything is subject to change, but only when
necessary.
