Where:  Pla-Mor Campground - 2162 US 6 East, Bremen, IN 46506

The 2010 Summer Camp will start on a Wednesday morning, ending on
Saturday evening, with campground checkout by noon on Sunday.
Campsites will be $20 per night (plus tax) full hookups, for all registered
woodcarvers regardless of tent or RV type. Each campsite has a picnic
table, fire ring, water, electricity, wireless internet, and sewer hookups
available. See their website for details & rules. You can make your
campsite reservations now by calling Rod & Brenda at 574-546-3665.

Registration Fees for woodcarving:
Adults (18 and older): $15.00 per carver in advance, or $20 at the door.
Couples Rate: 2 carvers at same address on your drivers license $22.00.
(Children must have a parent or adult guardian in the carving area. You do
not have to sit at same table, but you must be nearby.)
Children 12-17: $5.00
Children under 12: $2.50

This one-time fee covers all four days of carving and includes parking. You
can start sending your Advance Registration payments as soon as I post
the required FORM on this page. (Hopefully by mid-February.)

Non-carvers and crafters do not pay a registration fee. Each craft
instructor will charge a Class & Materials Fee based on the projects you
choose. Soap Carving and Origami is Free - compliments of the Council
Oak Woodcarvers and Good Time Woodcarvers clubs.

The IWSC registration fees are used to purchase supplies, rentals and
other camp related expenses like printing flyers. We are a not-for-profit
event. Money collected in 2009 will be used to finance the 2010 event.
Money collected in 2010 will finance the 2011 event...and so on. All
sponsorships and donations (cash, door prizes, raffle items, supplies) are
gratefully accepted and will be acknowledged on our website.

Hotels, Motels and Bed & Breakfasts - please wait until I establish the
woodcarvers rates and announce it here before making your
hotel/motel/B&B reservations. Last year, the Nappanee Inn gave us
woodcarver rates of $65 per night.  I will try to get better rates this year if at
all possible.
***Please note that due to negative reviews from 2009, we cannot recommend the
Bremen Inn this year.

SPECIAL NOTES:

*Our FREE carving tables are NICE PICNIC TABLES. This helps to keep costs down.  You may
wish to bring cushions for your bottoms and carpet pads or rubber mats for your table top.  You
can also bring your own favorite chairs and sit at the end of a table or even outdoors in the shade of
our beautiful trees while you carve. Please label personal items with your name!
*There is NO setup fee, registration fee, or booth space fee for Summer Camp Instructors. This
helps them keep costs down for your classes! Many of our instructors have to travel a long distance
(like from Florida, Minnesota, Pennsylvania...) and need to cover travel expenses in order to be here.
*TIP JARS are placed by management on every instructors table. Please use them and be as
generous as possible!
*This year, all of the crafters will be located under tents or awnings next to the main carving
building. Please bring extension cords if you need power! Free picnic tables are available, but you
may bring your own tables and chairs if you wish.  (We can also rent standard 8 foot tables for you
for a $10 fee per table. Please let us know in advance if you want to rent tables.)
*Orlando Villareal (Power Carving for kids & adults) will have a private tent outdoors next to the
main building (near the main power wall).  This will reduce wood dust in the main building.
*If you need any T-Shirts sizes over 3X - please call Linda Long at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
They must be special ordered. T-Shirt Depot - 231-679-5562

*Unless something changes, Bill & Isa Hastings will not join us this year, due to prior
committments. They will be missed.
*Dave and Vicki DeGraff (chip carving) will return if Dave's teaching schedule allows it.  We'll know
more later.
*Steve Oliver's classes must pre-register with Steve directly (see his
website).Steve has to prepare a wood blank before the class (based on a
photograph you send to him).
